On Tuesday 25 November, members of the Pentland Parish congregation enjoyed a superb lunch in Canisbay Church Hall courtesy of Pentland Parish Guild. Chief organiser Isabel Mackay donated the ingredients (and her culinary skills) as her contribution towards raising funds for the 2025 Guild Projects, with those attending being invited to make a donation for the meal received. The main course was chicken and ham pie, which went down a treat and her a selection of sweets disappeared very rapidly. Most folk had second helpings! By unanimous agreement her tour de force was the Queen of Puddings, with Benny and Neil leading the charge!
Appetites more than satisfied, PP Guild Convener Pat Macpherson thanked Isabel and her able assistants for a most enjoyable meal and what was a lovely time of friendship and fellowship, before Esme Duncan delivered the closing prayer.

Isabel hard at work serving seconds....

The amazing Queen of Puddings!
