With smiles, laughter, and a sea of shakas, members of our church gathered to send a joyful greeting to the children of Castletown Primary School. The shaka — a simple sign meaning hello with love, I’m happy to see you, and “it’s all good” — felt like the perfect way to say thank you for the beautiful rainbow artwork the pupils so thoughtfully created for us.
Now proudly displayed at the front of the church, these colourful rainbows have already brightened many days. They are a cheerful reminder of hope, community, and God’s unfailing promises, and a celebration of the wonderful creativity and spirit of our local school.
Next Sunday, all families are warmly invited to come along, see the rainbows for yourselves, and share in the joy they have brought to our church family.
