PP Carol Service, Keiss, Sunday 17 December

On Sunday 17 December, Keiss Church hosted a well attended Pentland Parish Carol Service in Keiss Community Hall. At the last minute Rob Petersen stepped in to lead the singing and praise as unfortunately Rev Janet was unwell and unable to attend. Rob did us proud, and the hall rang out to joyful singing, led on the organ by stalwart Keiss organist Cynthia Grant.
After the service, the ladies of Keiss church treated us to a sumptious spread of cakes, biscuits and mincemeat pies, all washed down with tea or coffee and a good helping of friendly chat and banter.
The collection on the day raised a total of £155 in memory of Irene Mackay, and will be donated to Pulteneytown House.
