World Day of Prayer Service at Dunnet

On the afternoon of Friday 1 March 2024 about twenty people (Pentland Parish members and friends) gathered for the World Day of Prayer Service in Britannia Hall, Dunnet.  The service, prepared by the World Day of Prayer Committee of Palestine, was led by Mrs Sheila Cormack.  Others from the congregation read various parts.  Towards the end of the service the World Day of Prayer candle was passed to Mrs Liz Geddes a representative from Olrig Church.  Olrig will be the host church for next year's Pentland Parish World Day of Prayer Service which will be prepared by Christian women of the Cook Islands. 

Following the service refreshments were served and a time of fellowship was enjoyed by all.
