Guild prepares for Spring!

At their November meeting in 2022, the ladies of Pentland Parish Guild planted spring bulbs and trees in pots and containers for display around Canisbay Church Hall. The activity was inspired by the Guild theme Wee seeds, Big trees, which explored the idea of growth, physical growth and spiritual growth. We are where we are because of the people who nurtured us both physically and spiritually to make us the person we have become.
The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of all garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches. (Matt 13: 31 – 32)
