World Day of Prayer 2023

The World Day of Prayer is an ecumenical movement inspired by the motto “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action.” The movement follows the example of Jesus Christ, who prayed from a place of knowledge and care for the world, and who acted from a place of prayer and connection to God.
On Friday 3 March Pentland Parish celebrated World Day of Prayer at Keiss village hall, led by Keiss church and supported by members of the other three chuches in our parish. Those attending were treated to tea and scrumptious cakes following the service, prepared and served by the ladies of Keiss church.
