Liz attends Guild Annual Gathering

On Saturday 9th September, Liz Buchan attended the Guild Annual Gathering in the General Assembly Hall in Edinburgh. She was the sole representative of Caithness Guilds Together.
The Annual Gathering is the biggest event of the Guild year, bringing over 1,000 Guild members and friends together for a day of worship, celebration and fellowship. The Moderator Rt Rev Sally Foster-Fulton gave a talk in the morning. In the afternoon Prof Jason Leitch CBE was an inspirational guest speaker. He told of his daily updates during the pandemic and also of charity work he is involved with abroad. Very enjoyable musical entertainment was given by the Govan Songsters. The new National Convener Mrs Rae Lind took up office.
Liz says "Everyone is friendly in Guild World so even if you don't know the person sitting beside you they will speak to you".
