With our parish minister Rev Janet Easton-Berry currently indisposed due to illness, Castletown stalwart Issy Currie led an upbeat service today in Olrig Parish Church. Taking 'animals' and 'musicals' as her core themes, Issy reminded us that the companionship of pets and cheerful, light-hearted songs from musicals can do much to raise the mood of ourselves and others in times of stress and challenge.
Being the second Sunday of the month, tea/coffee, cakes and companionship were enjoyed following the service.
