VE 80 displays at Canisbay Church

One of our parishoners, Christine Shearer (a lady with many talents) has decorated Canisbay church in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of VE day - see photos of the beautiful displays below.
Across the nation, many churches will be ringing their bells at 6.30pm on Thursday 8th May, and the bell in Canisbay church will be rung to echo the sounds that swept across the country in 1945 in a collective act of thanksgiving.
